A real post for a Cybersecurity Analyst

CISA added another five CVEs to the KEV catalog yesterday. One of them is in a library you almost certainly run.
CVE-2026-XXXX in libcurl, actively exploited. CVSS 9.1.
Three things if you haven't already:
1. Grep your SBOM for libcurl < 8.12.0
2. Push the patch to internet-facing first, not the standard ring
3. Watch egress for the C2 pattern in CISA's advisory — it's noisy and easy to alert on
Patch tonight, not Friday.
