Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 27, 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

SocAIlpost is provided by Peter Newsome. By creating an account or using SocAIlpost you agree to these Terms & Conditions. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use SocAIlpost. If you are using SocAIlpost on behalf of an organisation, you also confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. What SocAIlpost does

SocAIlpost generates draft social media posts (primarily for LinkedIn) in your voice using AI models, based on the prompts, writing samples, profile data, and other inputs you provide, and on publicly available news articles surfaced from third-party RSS feeds.

SocAIlpost does not post to LinkedIn or any other social network on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing each draft and choosing whether and how to publish it. Specific features depend on your subscription plan and may change over time.

3. Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to, use SocAIlpost to:

  • Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Generate or distribute illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deceptive deepfakes, sexual content involving minors, malware, or spam.
  • Attempt to jailbreak, reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise circumvent SocAIlpost's technical or safety measures.
  • Probe, interfere with, or disrupt SocAIlpost or related infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute SocAIlpost except as expressly permitted.

5. AI-generated content

  • You are responsible for your prompts, the inputs you provide, and how you use any outputs.
  • You must have the rights to any content you input, including any writing samples you use to train your voice.
  • Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You must review them before publication and should not rely on them as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
  • Because AI models are probabilistic and many users use SocAIlpost, similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users. In some jurisdictions, AI outputs may not be eligible for copyright protection.
  • As between you and Peter Newsome, and to the extent permitted by law, you own the outputs generated for your account. Peter Newsome retains ownership of SocAIlpost itself, the underlying software, and all related IP.
  • SocAIlpost may moderate, restrict, or remove outputs and may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or generate prohibited content.
  • If you believe content generated through SocAIlpost infringes your rights, contact support@socailpost.com with a detailed takedown request. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

6. Third-party platforms and channels

You are solely responsible for your use of any third-party platform you post outputs to (including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and others) and for any third-party service you connect for delivery (including email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Telegram). This includes complying with each platform's terms of service and any rules they have about disclosing AI-generated content, automated posting, or scraping. Peter Newsome is not responsible for any suspension, restriction, or termination of your accounts on those platforms.

News articles surfaced inside SocAIlpost come from publicly available RSS feeds and other third-party sources. They are provided on an "as available" basis and Peter Newsome does not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

7. Intellectual property

SocAIlpost, including its software, designs, branding, and documentation, is owned by Peter Newsome or its licensors. Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use SocAIlpost for your own internal or personal purposes.

8. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds

Payments and subscriptions are processed by our reseller Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders, provides customer service for billing enquiries, and handles returns and chargebacks. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle's Checkout / Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Service availability and changes

SocAIlpost may include experimental or beta features. We work to keep SocAIlpost available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may perform maintenance that affects access.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use SocAIlpost ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Notice.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocAIlpost is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Peter Newsome arising out of or relating to SocAIlpost is limited to the fees you paid (to us or to Paddle for SocAIlpost) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Peter Newsome is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or for any consequences of your use of SocAIlpost outputs on third-party platforms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Peter Newsome harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of outputs (including any consequences of posting them to third-party platforms), your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use of SocAIlpost after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Peter Newsome resides, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
