A real post for a Recruiter

Technical Recruiter · Tuesday, 7:30 AM

The monthly jobs report came out Friday. Most of the headlines were about the top-line number. The part I care about is quits. When people stop quitting, my outreach gets harder. Candidates who would have taken a call a year ago now want a much bigger reason to move. So I changed three things in my outreach this month: 1. Lead with what the role fixes for them, not the company pitch 2. Share the salary range in the first message 3. Ask one specific question about their current team Reply rates went up. Not because the market changed, but because I stopped writing like the market hadn't. Recruiters, what are you changing in your outreach right now?
